Let's think about a race weekend at the track. If you are ministering at a NASCAR weekend, the racing schedule is pretty much cast in stone. Practice, qualifying and the race itself. Depending on the day, the cars will be on the track for maybe 5-6 hours total. What happens the rest of the day (and night) ?
The guests arrive early and leave late. Many will stay the entire weekend in on-site campgrounds that surround the track. What will they do with all the free time when they are not inside the rrtrack watching the action?
One of the great opportunities we have throughout the weekend is to provide quality, family friendly entertainment.
